We do so like an extravaganza in February, it sets a good tone for the year and 2010 is going to be a magnificent year. With that in mind, Black Productions is proud to bring you: Egyptophile. There will be mummy unwrappings, gentlemen celebrating their 29th Birthday ( Hip Hoorah to David!), Egyptian dancing and a host of other fabulousness to knock your kalasiris off. No re-animating the mummies please, they're a bother to get back in the sarcophagus.

PB will be partying on an international scale, with Com.X holding a sister party in the UK. Razorjack is a "hard-boiled SF noir" by John Higgins, better known for his work on Judge Dredd, 2000AD, Hellblazer, The Hills Have Eyes, Batman: The Killing Joke, and Watchmen. Comic fans will appreciate what a labour of love this book is; created, written, pencilled and coloured to an embarrassingly high standard by John Higgins.

Razorjack is the wickedest witch in the world. When three college students inadvertently create an opening into The Twist Dimension, Razorjack and her violent army of magically mutated women and ladyboys have their opportunity to finally break through into our world. The integrity of existence might rest upon the Good vs. Evil battle that ensues when a couple of rogue cops investigate Razorjack's killing spree.

Bloody good fun, I tell you! It will appeal to those who like zany old pulp and exploitation sci-fi, bad girls in their underwear, fast-paced inter-dimensional thrill-killing; in short, it should appeal to... YOU!

Com.X has recently released the complete Razorjack trade collection, and if you're quick and lucky and get it from Ace comics in the city you might score a John Higgins original sketch at no extra cost (if they have any left).

Why are we posting this here? What does this have to do with PB? Because we've been working with John on throwing a Razorjack party at the next PB.
